VSK’s time in AEW has reportedly come to an end.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that VSK has departed AEW, as his contract has expired. Johnson noted that VSK could be used down the line, but he is not under contract with the company anymore.
VSK made his AEW debut at a Dark taping in October 2020. He has wrestled many times on AEW programming, and in 2022, he was repackaged as Jeeves Kay, a member of The Trustbusters. In his last match with AEW/ROH, he faced Ethan Page at the ROH tapings on September 16.
Previously, VSK wrestled for NWA and IMPACT, among other promotions. He remains active on the independent scene.
This departure comes after Zack Clayton left AEW, as first reported by WrestleZone’s own Bill Pritchard. Sonny Kiss recently parted ways with the promotion as well.
Update: VSK commented on the news by simply stating that Jeeves is “dead”, and it’s time to have fun.
WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
